Sisters are Great

Well after being on a little hiatus I am back. My sister Zoe, as you can see in the above picture is doing and looking great. Zoe is my favorite new toy, she is even funner to play with then stuffed pooh and jumper. I was not sure what to expect with a new sister, but generally I am very happy with the new addition...Thanks mommy!

Teeth, I Really Don't Need Them

As you can see, I can make a mess without any teeth. Today I think another one is on the way, did I really need another tooth? Look at the mess I can already make without teeth. This is even a cookie, really mama I like cookies, but I am not sure about this new tooth thing. I seem to get so irritable and don't feel so good when I go through something like this, can't I just have the cookies and forget the teeth?

Tiny Dancing Feet

Yes, those are my tiny feet. Dancing and seeing numbers, two of my favorite things. Here you can see I am still a little short for my favorite Winnie the Pooh outfit of coveralls. But, today I am definitely not too short, I in fact have almost outgrown this outfit in height. Here too you can see that I am still in my barefoot stage. Although at the house I am usually barefoot, now when I go out shopping or just out to play I always wear my light up Tinkerbell shoes. They are the best, but for some reason I like to take them off when at home and fill them with goodies. What a good hiding place from momma!

Not Feeling the Best Today...

Yes, this is an older picture about a year ago or so but, this still represents me today. I think I ate something that did not quite agree with me and up it came. Today I even got mom with the projectile vomiting. So mom had to change and wash not only my clothes, but hers as well. I hate being sick, usually I graze all day long, but when I am throwing up that diet goes out the door. Even though I am not feeling the best today, I am up and currently stuffing my shoes with the goodies I would normally be eating! Just think of how surprised mommy will be when she finds this. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel better.

Toothless

Yes, this is a picture of me without teeth. Boy, at this point I could not wait to eat real foods...you know chocolate cake, cookies, and all those other food groups. Even without teeth, as you can see I still liked to smile. I think this comes from being a camera ham! I see the camera like the one that used to be on my bassinet and I know it is time to turn on the charm.

Hiding

Where am I? Can you find me, yes I am hiding ;) This is a picture from when I was a bit younger. I love all these animals, especially Pooh. Look, I think I even see the Easter Bunny lurking in there. Bear in the Big Blue House and Tutter are also hanging out with me. Boy, I have lots of great friends, and what a classic picture!

Electronic Addict Already

Yes, I already love electronics. Remote controls are one of my favorite toys. They seem to be abundant around the house and sometimes when I click on the buttons, something actually happens. If I get really lucky when I push the buttons Pooh or Mickey will appear on the television. What a magical device. Just think, when mommy was my age she didn't have great toys like this! She just had stagnent blocks and dolls. Boy, what a great time to be little.

I Sure Love to Sleep, even at Disneyland

Yes, here I am again, sleeping. this is the day that I went to the Pirates of the Caribean restaurant at Disneyland for the first time. It was good, I snacked on little kibbles from mom and had my bottle as usual. Even though I am young, I was able to go on the Winnie the Pooh ride and a few others while visiting Disneyland. Mostly we just enjoyed the ambiance and slept, and ate, and had a great time.

As you can see, the hat thing for me started rather young. I like this hat because it was multipurposed, a menu and a toy all in one. A Pirate's life for me...yo, ho, yo, ho...well you know how it goes. I also really liked the Tiki Room as the birds and the singing were all up my musician lifestyle. No ears this trip for me, I am too young right now, maybe the next trip I can get a pair.

Suze Orman, Mom & Me

Yes this was an alright hair day, of course, back then I was much smaller and did not have as much hair. Of course too, it is right about now that my hair seemed to start changing colors. First, when I was born it was quite dark, now it is blond. Here you can see it is still looking a little dark, but getting blonder every day.
That is my mom on the left and Suze Orman on the right, as a young baby, about 7 months here I have already started to schmooze with the rich and famous. Something my mom seems to have a knack for doing. Suze seemed real nice, she even let us go first for the photo op when there was a big line of people waiting to see her. It is always fun meeting new people and I watch Suze every week on the TV now, mom says that you are never too young to start thinking about your money.

Yes, it is a hat!

Just like my safari outfit I like various hats. Here is a hat, but it does seem a little large for my head, even though it is smushing my nose! What are those red lines too? Even though mamma says it is not a hat, I know the truth it is a hat! It just happens to be plastic and has some holes in it. I am not sure though if it goes with my bunny outfit? Oh well, at least it fits over my head.

Alixia is officially 21 months old today. She is trying hard to figure out her colors. Everything is purple right now, I think that is her favorite color. Alixia is also to the stage of repeating everything. You say a word, she says it. Everything except for Grandma and Grandpa.

March 24, 2009 The Musician is Here!

Alixia loves her electronic keyboard. ( yes in this picture it is still in the box) No I am not talking about one of those toy keyboards but instead a fancier and more complex Casio keyboard. It is amazing to me that she has figured out how to turn it on and off at will. She also knows what I mean when I tell her to turn it off or to turn it on.

Besides turning it on and off she is also able to change the modes, she already seems to have a favorite song, I am not sure of the name, but it is very recognizable. After about the 20th time that she played it, I started recognizing it as her favorite. She also likes to hit the keys, but she only does this sometimes.

Dancing to the music is also one of her hobbies, she likes to turn the music on and then spin around. She also likes to put her arms up like a tree and move. All this and almost 21 months old, pretty amazing to me. I wonder if her sister will follow in her footsteps, or will she be totally different? What a great time of life.

March 23, 2009 Another bad hair day!

It seems like Alixia is plagued with bad hair days! Whether it be after a nap or after a good night worth of sleep Alixia always has an interesting new look. She doesn't care much, but as a mom, I do.

Alixia's hair is also getting a little bit longer in the back and it is almost time for me to trim her bangs again. This picture is from an in between day, not the worst, but not the best. Another day I'll post some more of her more wild hair days.

March 22, 2009 Hi to me! From me!

Hi Alixia,
Today you are almost 21 months old, on the 25th you will be that old. Boy how time goes by so quickly. Your sister, is less then three months away, I am still working on a name, but thinking of Zoe.
You are talking more then ever! Your favorite word is stuck, I think that it is stuck because they use that word so much in Winnie the Pooh and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse shows which are your favorites. Other words you are saying are momma, book, shoes, uh-oh, cheese, Mickey, Pooh, and a slew of others.
To you are actually playing more and more keys on your keyboard. You also turn it off when I ask. It is getting late tonight, and you are starting your it's time for bed routine, so til tommorrow.
